The house is in a very quiet position, it is situated in Dallu, an upmarket urban district of Kathmandu. You will find the central staircase of the Swayambunath temple only 100 meters away. The temple is one of the two most important Buddhist shrines of the Kathmandu valley. The National Museum of Nepal is located in 15 minutes walking distance from our accommodation. You can also reach the old town centre of Kathmandu (world  cultural  heritage) by feet in 30 minutes as well as the tourist district of Thamel. Thanks to the nearby temple, you will always find a taxi that takes you round Kathmandu without any difficulty. From the terrace of the house you will have a wonderful view of Kathmandu as well as the Swayamunath Tempel and the first mountains of the kathmandu valley.

The special location allows hikers to start small tours directly from the house. It will take you only a 3 / 4 hour walk to reach the hill region of Kathmandu.
